Your Data, Your Control
At SlidePosts, we believe in providing users with full control over their data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated personal information, you can do so easily by following the steps below.
How to Request Data Deletion
There are two primary ways to delete your data from SlidePosts:
Option 1: In-App Deletion
1. Log into your SlidePosts account.
2. Click on "Account" in the top navigation bar and select "Account Settings".
3. Scroll to the "Danger Zone" and click "Request Account Deletion".
4. Type "DELETE" to confirm your choice. All your projects, credits, and account data will be permanently removed.
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access your account, send an email to contact@demostudio.xyz with the subject "Data Deletion Request." Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 48 hours and notify you once the deletion is complete.
What Data is Deleted?
When you delete your account, we permanently remove the following from our active databases:
- Personal Identifiers: Your name and email address.
- Project Content: All scripts, voiceovers, and generated videos.
- Uploaded Assets: Any brand images or logos you provided.
- Usage History: Your generation logs and credit history.
Note: Some transaction data may be retained for accounting and legal compliance purposes as required by our payment processor (Stripe).
Facebook Data Deletion
If you have logged in using Facebook and wish to remove the SlidePosts app from your account:
- Go to your Facebook Profile's Settings & Privacy. Click Settings.
- Go to "Apps and Websites" and you will see all of your Apps activities.
- Select the checkbox for SlidePosts.
- Click Remove.
