At SlidePosts ("we," "our," or "us"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service to generate Instagram Reels and TikTok videos.

Data We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us:

• Account Information: When you sign in via Magic Link or other methods, we collect your email address.
• Project Data: Descriptions of your business, URLs you provide for context, and any brand assets (images, logos, and video clips) you upload.
• Audiovisual Metadata: For video uploads, we extract and store structured metadata, including transcripts of spoken words, visual themes, and tone analysis.
• Payment Information: Processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data to:

• Generate AI-driven scripts, voiceovers, and videos.
• Analyze user-uploaded footage to ensure script-to-visual alignment.
• Provide and maintain our service.
• Process payments and manage your credit balance.
• Communicate with you regarding your projects or service updates.

Public Visibility

SlidePosts is a collaborative and social platform. Certain aspects of your use are public by design:

• Exported Content: All exported reels are hosted on public storage. Anyone with the direct link can view the video.
• Project Links: While your account is private, individual project URLs are shareable. Anyone who has a link to your project can view the contents of the workspace.
• Cloning & Showcase: Projects you explicitly flag as "Public" may be featured in our community gallery and can be cloned by other users to use as templates.

Instagram & Facebook Integration

When you connect your Instagram account to SlidePosts, we collect the following data via the Meta Graph API:

• Instagram Business Account ID and username
• Facebook Page ID associated with your Instagram account
• Access token used to act on your behalf

We use this data solely to publish Reels to your Instagram account on your behalf when you enable the Autonomous Creator feature. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising or ad targeting, or share it with any third party other than Meta's Graph API to perform the publishing action you have authorised.

Your Instagram credentials are stored securely and are never exposed to other users. You can disconnect your Instagram account at any time from your account settings, which will permanently delete your stored credentials from our systems.

Our use of Meta Platform data is governed by the Meta Platform Terms.

AI Services & Data Processing

To provide our core features, we share relevant portions of your data with the following AI service providers:

• OpenAI: For script generation.
• Google (Gemini): For audiovisual analysis and transcription of uploaded video clips.
• ElevenLabs: For text-to-speech voiceovers.
• Runway: For video generation.
• Meta (Instagram Graph API): For publishing Reels to your connected Instagram account.

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies. We do not use your personal images or videos to train general AI models without your explicit consent.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your project data as long as your account is active. You can request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time by following the instructions on our Data Deletion page.
